The nearest Tourist Information Centres are at Lochinver, Durness and Ullapool. Additional information about accommodation and other activities can be found at the Assynt Tourist Group web site.

Modestly priced accommodation is available at Kylesku Lodges and the Inchnadamph Field Centre. The Kylesku Hotel is right next to the departure point and provides traditional accommodation and excellent meals to non-residents whilst Newton Lodge ,a couple of miles away, provides four star modern accommodation.

The croft land at Kerrachar on which the Gardens were created is part of the Assynt Crofters Trust which pioneered community ownership in the Highlands.
